Home prices in Sarasota-Bradenton pushed back into March 2004 territory last month as the market's traditional summer slowdown was exacerbated by the effects of short sales and foreclosures. The July median sales price was $230,100, down $5,000 from the previous post-boom low set in June and 17 percent lower than this time last year.
